Storms, book nine

The tide of war engulfs two worlds. Ridmark has liberated Cintarra from the dark legions of the Heptarchy. But the Heralds of Ruin now march upon Cathair Kaldran, which holds a source of unimaginable power.

And if the Heralds claim that power, countless worlds will burn to ashes. To defeat them, Ridmark must take up a weapon that might consume him. Once again he must wield the Sword of the Dragon Knight.

an entertaining series, well narrated. the prose is a bit repetative however as the same sentences are used to describe events and histories over and over again especially in the final four books. so while entertaining the story becomes tedious because of the repetition.

a great spin on a fantasy. loved every min of it! now that all the books are out. its nice to be able to sit down and finish it!

I enjoyed the entire series. The characters were interesting and well developed. There were a lot of them, so sometimes I got confused. But I would catch up quickly. There were surprises and suspense.

The only thing that really bothered me was the amount of repetition. They explained the same things over and over. Sometimes because it was from someone else's perspective. Yes, we all know that once the fighting starts, the plans fall apart. I don't need to hear it 50 times.

loved the story line enjoyed that they were all in good sized audio books. I listen while at work it is a great escape from the mundane.

The ending pulls it all together and gives us hope for the characters’ futures. There are so many heroes to cheer for and so many villains that you will love to hate.
