Just when you think you have a favorite Carson brother, you read the next in the series. This is Jacob's story, and I love Jacob. He is a man of few words, so when he speaks, you know it is something of worth and importance. Crystal is the woman is drawn to. She is on a hunting trip with her crazy fiance, father and their business associates. Jacob becomes completely in tune with her, seeing how her fiance is abusive and does what he can to help her. Over the course of the relationship you learn the heart of this man, and how Crystal becomes part of the Carson family.

Valerie Gilbert finishes out this 6 book brother series beautifully.

This is another great book about the Carson hill ranch. Crystal is a girl that her life has been planned out
She is marring a not so good guy but her parents want her to. She goes with her father on a hunting trip to the Carson hill ranch. Jacob is one of the sons and is overseeing the hunters. Jacob and Crystal becomes friends and crystal realizes she wants a change. Crystal and Jacob's story is very good. I highly recommend this book and series
