I love how the story progresses with new people and how the drama builds up. at first I wasn't liking the cur and dry details but i realized that it's perfectly fine the way it is. good book overall!

This is one of my favorite series. I have read and listened to this entire series over and over.

I liked this series and that’s why I continued listening. The plot was so good and had so much potential.
That being said oh what annoying and really immature and irresponsible and predictable 5 year old persona Sloane is! I couldn’t believe it! She has an immature comment to everything that’s happens including people dying, cried easily and labeled everything. It felt like she thought everything was a joke! I’m not sure if the author didn’t have anything else to write about except comeback snarky comment, OT WAS NOT FUNNY!
Okay, now that I have vented out on Sloane, the story was so good! I also couldn’t feel the chemistry between Logan and Sloane. They were soul mates and it felt superficial, I guess I have read better. Other characters were well developed and I wish her mom was the main character, she was a strong character.
I loveeeed Issac💜 he was one of my favorite characters and the elf. I enjoyed the pets like the goat, kitty and Hem the dog. Although sometimes it felt that the dog and kitty had more scenes that didn’t make sense.
Sloane’s character felt stuck and even with her being a dragon she would be so surprised and in denial at every turn of magical revelation.
Narrator: I have listened to other books with her before and I liked her but here was felt curt and annoying but I think it’s the script not her
