I listened to Echoes of the Hunted during a road trip, and not gonna lie, I checked my door locks more than once. Jessica Lynn Sorensen packed a full-blown psychological tailspin into a tight, fast-paced thriller that doesn't waste a second. The serial killer premise is scary enough, but what really hit was Angela’s descent into doubt. That balance of paranoia, sarcasm, and raw fear had me glued. Also? Anyone even thinking about cheating should read this book and think twice. The Game Changer might be fictional, but that twist ending is very real and very savage.

Narration:
Abby Filsinger crushed it. Her tone matched the unsettling vibe of the story perfectly: dark, a little biting, and just the right amount of unsteady. She kept the pacing tight and emotional beats sharp. A great fit for this twisted thriller.

TL;DR:
Echoes of the Hunted is a quick but vicious psychological thriller where betrayal gets punished and trust gets tested. If you like your stories sharp, tense, and a little unhinged, this one will hit the mark. Bonus points for that absolutely brutal final twist. This one's a one-sitting listen you won’t forget.

Woah! What did I just read?! Echoes of the Hunted is a suspenseful, twist-filled rollercoaster that had me hooked from start to finish. Jessica Lynn Sorensen takes readers on a thrilling ride of tension and unexpected turns — the twists were absolutely genius! I listened to the audio version, and the narrator did an amazing job bringing the story to life, adding just the right amount of emotion to make every moment feel even more intense. I couldn’t stop listening and was completely captivated the entire time!

I read this for a book club and crime books are not my thing so take this with a grain of salt. I hate to be harsh in reviews but this is pretty bad and I don’t want people to waste a credit. Not good. No character development, no plot development, no suspense. The way the characters react is cartoonish in a way because they only have one character trait.
