If you're considering going into management, this is a great read.
It starts with very practical and straightforward advice on how to approach the transition, whether its right for you, and conversations you should start having. It follows up with things to do once you start and progresses from there. The tail end of the book also gets into more long term paths which adds some interesting but useful perspective I wasn't expecting.
Most of the book is applicable to Management more generally vs. just Engineering Management. As a Tech Artist considering Management this book was still very useful and full of practical information.

Delivers on its promise.
