Albedo is fragile and sweet, and fiercely protective.

Sterling always showed up to save me, and though he remained aloof, something sparked behind those dark eyes of his.

And Julian? I didn't think it was possible, but he's the one who changed the most. I don't know if I can trust him, but for the first time, I want to.

Now I have to figure out the truth behind the titles, and find out just what Silverton University is planning, because the deeper I dig, the more I discover that the Alpha Gods are just as disposable as I am, and the only way to survive this might be joining forces.

I love this story. It was interesting and exciting. Even with a virtual voice narrator it was really good.

As with the first book, it's narrated with virtual voice &the ending was abrupt & unsatisfying. The story still has a bunch of holes with more questions than answers which is probably the intent to create mystery. However, instead of keeping my interest, I have to convince myself to keep listening, especially when the FL is written as genius level intelligence, but then falls victim to the cliché 'I have to do something really stupid just because, or, I have no choice'. I'm interested enough to move on to the next book, but mostly because I had already bought the series. Hopefully the next book wraps it all up so I can see how everything plays out & be done.
The connection between her and the guys is lukewarm for the most part and there is about 5min of 'spice' so if that is what anyone is looking for, this is more story driven than heat. There was some moments of tenderness which helps create a little depth, but also some inconsistencies & awkward aspects which detract from it all. It's not a bad story, but it isn't a great one either.

Didn’t like the narration, plot, or characters. I couldn’t differentiate who was who, male or female. Completely lost my interest. And, that’s saying much, because I kept moving forward in hopes it would improve but atlas, I just have to stop.
