I should have known no good could come from offing my parents in the space of 20 minutes no matter how psychotic and evil they were.... Now I find out my family tree includes almost every deity and mythological being alive while Ethan, the one and only love of my undead life, has a limited time down under before he turns to dust.

In the land of Sin, you'd think I'd get some nookie time with my man, but no. Baby Demons, cousins, and grandparents put the kibosh on that. Blue balls are the new normal. What the hell does a half-Vampyre/half-Demon have to do to catch a break? Apparently find a freakin' sword, calm Mother Nature's unmedicated mood swings, and make sure Mr. Rogers keeps his sticky fingers to himself during weekly poker with the Devil. And I have three days to do it. By all that's unholy, I thought Ethan's Vampyre family was crazy.... Trust me, they have nothing on the Demons.

Down Under is an adventure full of new characters that are crazy, sexy, insane, and hilarious! And OH MY, the sex, and banter between Astrid and Ethan was HOT! Who knew a trip to hell could be so funny!

Jessica Almasy's performance rocked! She captures Astrid's personality and voice perfectly and Ethan's voice.....sexy! Well done!

I never thought I would fall in love with a story that was so "out there" and "insanely funny" but I did. However, some may be turned off by the langue but I'm not easily offended. I feel this story deserves all five stars ~ Great Story, Spot on Performance and just Awesome All Around.

If you love stories on the fun side with snarky, sassy, sexy characters that are over the top, and an unusual plot, this story will not disappoint. It was worth a credit, and the time you will spend laughing will be worth it!

The story was terrific. Timing of events just right. And I loved the narrator. I rarely submit an expanded review but this is worth it. And I go through a lot of stories, frequently purchasing several a month.

I am now addicted. I need more of Astrid, Ethan, and the rest of these crazy people. I love the wit and sarcasm that this story is full of. Sarcasm is an art that not everyone understands or appreciates, but it is fun.
I loved the array of Astrid's family and how they all intermingle. There was such an array of emotions that were wrung out of Astrid and in turn out of each reader as it was read. I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of humor, sharp wit, mystery, and of course all the gorgeous people and hot smexy times. What a great way to spend my time than with this book.
The narration was beautiful. To pull off successfully the array of people in this story and still be believable is a feat well done. I have listened to many stories and am glad when I can listen and be pulled into the story and not spend time paying attention to the person changing their tone.

Okay, maybe I am a bit twisted, but I adored ALL of these books. I seriously bought 1-9 in a span of about 2 weeks. I could NOT get enough! The absurd things that come out of these characters mouths is not only funny, blasphemous, outlandish, idiotic and something downright horrible, they crack me up in the best way! I told my co-workers about these books and they just couldn't believe it, then I read them the pitch from the audible website and they bent over laughing so hard they begged me to stop talking. These books are AWESOME! If you love book 1 just download all of them.

The author weaves a tight and profoundly creative story to which the narrator adds just the right personality. I laughed out loud many times and anxiously awaited the outcome of many, many moments provided.

This is one crazy book. For this to just be the second book I'm surprised how different the story was from the first book, but it's a pleasant surprise. a lot of things happened in this book in a lot of new characters were introduced with interesting backgrounds. You, Robyn Peterman have some imagination.

Completely and utterly obsessed with this series! What is not to love? Vampires✅️ Demons✅️ Romance✅️ Laugh out loud commentary ✅️ The author makes you fall in love with every single character....whether they are leads or just a blip in the story. Brilliant 👏 I cannot wait to start the next one to see what happens with Astrid and company next!!!!
