My daughter just got her first job and so I wanted to make sure that she had a good plan on what she would now start to do with her money. As a parent I wanted her to understand how to manage her money wisely from the get-go. Still, at my age, I am trying to figure out how to manage my money so I wanted her to do better than me. Now that she has listened to the book, we can have more conversations about what it means to budget and decide what happens to her money instead of frivolous spending. She is learning how to start a budget and how important it is to stick to it so that she stays on track with her goals. She is learning how to create different financial goals and one of them is for her trip to Greece her senior year.

I like that the book is not just about saving money, it's about making informed decisions about finances, investing, and building wealth. It's teaching her that she has the power to shape her financial future no matter her age or income level.

It's "Finance for Teens & Young Adults", but there are a few of my friends who are well past those two categories who could use the help of this book! Seriously, it's written in an easily understandable and relatable manner that anyone can understand and take to heart. The information in this book is so important that it should be taught in schools. Practical information about avoiding debt, compound interest, and making wise financial choices put this book up there with other "must listen" audiobooks. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make money work for them.
