The storyline is so good I didn’t want to stop listening. The narrator left it hard to follow changing characters.

I loved this book. As usual, Brenda Novak showed great skills with character development. She effectively tackled a difficult and taboo subject matter in no uncertain terms. I highly recommend this book to fans of hers as well as to her new fans.

Story was interesting until the end which wrapped up pretty quickly for the 6 hour build up. Would have thought there'd be more push back instead of everyone hugging it out in two sentences. The performance wasn't bad but wasn't that great. Sometimes it was hard to know which character was talking. Ms. Worthington didn't do male voices at all. With that said, this book was a fluff summer read.

This story kept me interested the entire way through. A lot of relationships start and end this way in the modern world. Loved it! Hard at times to tell the men apart, but not that big of a deal breaker for the story.

I did not finish this audiobook - got thru 2-3 chapters and found the style of narration to be so annoying that I couldn’t continue. I’ve not encountered this narrator before and would avoid her in the future. Tone of voice, changes of pitch, just not really professional or pleasant.

Finding Our Forever: Silver Springs Series, Book One was another great read by Brenda Novak. Cora has been looking for her birth mother and it has brought her to New Horizons Boys Ranch. Aiyana is the owner of the ranch as well as the woman who gave Cora up for adoption. Cora gets a job on the ranch but doesn't tell anyone there who she really is. She gets closer to Elijah, Aiyana's adopted son, who is the ranch manager as well as the man who hired her. Although they both try to fight the attraction, neither one can deny it. I really enjoyed listening to Cora and Elijah's story, and can't wait to read more by Brenda Novak.

Where does Finding Our Forever rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was such a poignant story. I don't often listen to this type of story, so it's hard to quantify.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can't tell you why my favorite character got the designation without giving away a lot of the story. Suffice it to say, they were a secondary character who played a pivotal role in Cora's life.

Which scene was your favorite?

The epilogue. I cried so hard, and felt so good, it's hard to explain!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I tried! I really did! I kept getting distracted! I finished it at 10 pm, the day after release day.

Any additional comments?

If you've ever felt a kinship with adoptive kids, or ever wanted to find your birth parents, you should read this book. I was the biological child of both of my parents, yet this book still totally slayed me! I loved the story, loved the voice-actress (who is easily a top ten in my world), and loved all of the back story Novak provided on her website.
