GREAT STORY LINE

What did you like best about this story?

Guy Williams is back and is the best at doing the characters of Gabe Garrett and Eric Riordan. Getting into Gabe's past was very good. I cannot wait for the war with the Alliance and California to start!

Have you listened to any of Guy Williams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Guy Williams hit another home run....glad he is back! Guy does a great job of doing all of the characters, including the women. Guy doesn't make the women sound like scratchy voiced little girls, but real women.

If you could rename Fire in Winter, what would you call it?

Gabriel Garrett's War......

Great story, Great author. It is absolutely worth the purchase and read. It has adventure, humor, drama, all that you want in a book. You wont be disappointed.

First let me start off by saying I'm glad Guy Williams returned to read this volume. Though I thought the narrator of book 3 was serviceable- the series is much better with Guy on the mic. That being said, this to me was the best book in the series. I plowed through the last 5 hours of the book non-stop which is rarely something I find myself doing! The book is centered around Gabe which at first had me concerned as I'm a big fan of Eric and his story. Nevertheless it was an amazing story that adds a lot to Gabe's character and the series overall.

so glad i picked the series back up. Starts a little slow, and very little Eric in the book but Gabe is an absolute badass and easily carries the novel. The narrator is dope and I hope he never gets replaced. Great audiobook!

Good story, great characters. Felt like I was there with main characters. After getting started reading this book, it was hard to put it down.

Gabriel's story fially comes to light. His past and how he uses his "skills" is explained in true adventure form. Full of action and just enough zombie to keep you fearful.
