Three females and their struggle with the love of money - For the Love of It....

Asha was born into a family of prostitutes. Determined to make her own path, Asha enrolls in a nursing program and lands a decent job. After blowing the money she receives from a career-ending car accident, she finds herself strung out on pain medication and low on cash.

Desperate for money to feed her addiction, Asha teams up with her Aunt Lynn and hits the strip of the notorious Cash Avenue. Asha's life is interrupted when her current boyfriend is gunned down, in cold blood, by her neighbor Shon's boyfriend, Manson - who also happens to be her arch enemy, Carly's baby daddy.

The feuding women learn that they have more in common than a man -they have a deep love affair with money and will do anything to get it.

The narrator definitely mastered the art of storytelling. I felt like I was in the story the entire time. Thanks for bringing the characters alive Keba.

Perfect Voice

This play with "The Wire" and "PJ's" every unit has something going on! This audible will definitely keep your attention, the females and males characters are "picture perfect." Carly was my favorite I would say she went out like a "G". The narrator put emphasis on making sure the reader knows who is who. This is a plus when listening to audio books its easier to follow. Overall I would recommend this book, enjoy it on a night you want to go to the club for action but don't have a ride. I promise it will be better entertaining.
