Allison Chaney Whitmore (aka Allison Whitmore) is writer from Los Angeles who loves a good star-crossed lover romance. She also loves stories about history. When asked about the characters in Forget Me Not, Allison revealed, "Calvin was sort of my ideal guy, in all his messy ways, when I was in college. That's when he came to life. He listens -- usually, and for the most part, he cares. Whereas Teddi has always been the stubborn side of me and so many of the other people I've known and admired growing up." The characters are rich and spring off the page. Forget Me Not has recently been adapted into a television pilot entitled, American Town.
