I loved the plot of this story. The love story that continues from another book and the murder mystery that ensues.

The only negative I have is that I wish there were two narrators (male and female). This would make the story a little more enjoyable to listen to.

I love Robin Perinis' work. All of it. the series with Alzheimers is so heartwrenching and so relatable. All dealt within the confines of this remarkable, suspense novel. Strong female FBI, strong ex seal, now the sheriff. Murder, mystery and family. Well done.

Robin Perini did an awesome job with this series. The plot caught me up from the beginning and never let go. I sincerely hope Robin had more in mind for this series and will write more books about Reilly and Thane and their new venture, Blackwood Security.

although I do enjoy this series, the characters sometimes exhibit entirely too much self-recrimination which becomes annoying. As well, there is a fair amount of repetitiveness that can be distracting. all in all though, pretty good read.

This is an inspiring story that deals with the effect of family abuse and provides the fantasy cure of love. A forgotten legacy of the healing of love. Thank you for a good listen.
