One thing I love about audiobooks is the fact that they give me the opportunity to dive into an author’s backlist when I may not have the time to eyeball read a story. This one was no different! I would definitely say Frayed is a different vibe than Laura’s most recent works, seeing as these characters are in high school, but I really enjoyed the message it was putting across (no matter how frustrating it was to get to the end result lol!). The narrators did a great job with this one and definitely kept me invested in the story! Can’t wait to read more!

I was surprised when I started this. It was Laura Pavlov, so I just one clicked and didn’t read the synopsis. I’m not usually into this genre but I was surprised I enjoyed it.

I'm a sucker for the under dog. The one that peope judge ,but know nothing about. They are always the sweetest and best people. I loved this story and the revelations for each character. The narrators did a spectacular job bringing the audiobook to life !

I had in my head that this story was going to be college into adulthood when it is in fact high school. Once I wrapped my head around that, I knew it was going to be a lighter, fluffier story and I was better able to enjoy the story. It was a sweeter story about opposites attracting and finding your voice. I could really relate to Addy. I liked Jett and Addy building a friendship over time and then slowly becoming more.

This was my first narration by Lee Samuels and Virginia Rose. It’s not easy to always bring so many characters to life, especially high schoolers to sound believable. These two were able to accomplish that.

Normally I do not like high school romance books but this one is different. I actually listened to this series out of order and read this one last. The love story in this one is sweet and wholesome. But you will get angry at some parents in this book. Overall great book!
