Usually, I find the second book is not always good as the first or last book but the author surprised me here. I thought it was better than book one. It is fast paced from the start and it is from multiple POV's which I liked and it turns out that they are linked some how, we don't know until the end. I was surprised in certain areas of the book and guessed some in others. There are times where I really got frustrated with some of the characters but this just made it real.
The book ends on a cliffhanger.
There is violence and some profanity but no sexual content (a rape scene that occurs behind closed door). I hope one of the character gets what they deserve and it is delt with by a female. Those who have read or listened to it would understand what I am talking about.

Better than book one.

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was a great sci fi book. I was a little lost at times (because I didn't read/listen to book 1 in the series, but I was still able to enjoy the book. There is a lot of sci fi action that really drives the story along. The narration is pretty good too. All in all, this is just good plain fun.

good sci fi

This is the 2nd audiobook in this series I've finished. I really enjoy the pacing and action as well as the character voices the narrator lends to the story. Looking forward to the 3rd one.

Love this series

Freedom Express The Humanity Unlimited Saga is the second book in the series. I did not think the first book lived up to the great story telling that I expect from Terry Mixon. Book 2 is a redemption of sorts, it was just as unique and as interesting as I hoped. The Humanity Unlimited series is worth a second chance.
Veronica Giguere did her usual excellent job of narration.
I am also a great fan of Terry Mixon's The Empire of Bones Saga.
I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

I think my opinion about this book is different from most of the other reviews. I liked the first book in this series which is why I tried this second one. It started out fine but the ending became a ridiculous charade of musical chairs (vortex portals). It was just too much. I have no desire to read past this book even though I like Terry Mixon's other books. I'm sure that some would love this, but it just was not my style.

Kind of Ridiculous
