I’m picky about what I’d recommend to friends but this will be one of them. No fluff or filler and was definitely surprised at the end, which is rare these days considering how many titles I rip through each month. Narrator was superb.

Just get it! RR is by far my favorite author. This one is not like the rest of his books but his story telling is always on point. Just buy it! You won't be disappointed

I was listening to part of this while I was mowing the lawn. My neighbors must think I'm crazy because I was laughing out loud and talking to no one. I was gripped by this story and just when I thought I had it figured out, I found out I had no idea! Man I love this author! I was absorbed into the story thanks to the narrator. He was absolutely amazing! Wonderful book! I can't wait for the next one!

I'm so blown away with how amazing this story was. I've read all his novels and this was his most mature and best writing to date. The narrator Gethin Anthony is on the level of R.C. Bray or Carey Mulligan. Outstanding job and best story I've heard all year. I hope for more in this universe.

Honestly, I was getting mad at the main character for being so stupid. Turns out we were also getting gaslit and it made the ending awesome!

This was a fantastic read!! I thoroughly enjoyed. There were so many twists and turns. I was definitely pleasantly surprised with the ending.

Bought it and then proceeded to finish it over the course of 24 hours. Only takes a couple of chapters to get going as it doesn't require a ton of background or set up. Mystery will keep you listening to every detail. I was guessing the entire way through. Not a ton of characters and no time travel or different perspectives makes it super easy to follow. I highly recommend.

This author has a ton of these gems. I recommend you not only check this one out but to grab one or two of the others.
