It was a great book. I really like how multiple events happened in this book. Instead of just one event happening throughout the book that takes all of the time. Books nowadays are really just doing one thing and one thing only in the book. That’s why I really like this before multiple events happen That progress the storyline and really get you interested in the characters.
The main character does kind of have an OP power but is it number one in the world in this book. He uses it in creative ways and the powers do have consequences of overuse. And it’s nice to see something like that happen in these OP power books.
I only have one issue with the book and it is personal. This is a spoiler moment so if you don’t wanna read it please don’t. The main character is a part of a tournament and he does not win the grand prize. I really wish He would’ve won the grand prize and it still would’ve made the story continue on the same path it was going. But besides that single bright I really love the book and I recommend it to anybody that wants a good price and a long book.

Overall, it's not a bad start. the author has laid the groundwork for what could be an amazing cultivation and Litrpg universe. We see large amounts of world explaining.

However, I feel like the MC wouldn't be so disregarding of his menus and new unlocks. The author gave him a habit of ignoring new information and possibly more abilities for chapters before going back to them. Sometimes, this makes sense as the scenario has too much going on. But there was more than a few times here that the MC could have taken two minutes to go through his menus.

The narration I very well done. The different accents are well executed and believable.

Great start for a new series.
It feels a lot like Defiance of the fall crossed with Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Excellent narration by Daniel Wisniewski, as always.
Looking forward to the next installments.

A good intro for a new story

This is a story where every other character has some unexplained advantage over the main character and said main character is constantly playing catch-up. It's a well crafted story but the main character is too restrained by his own abilities and morality.

It was okay. Good concepts, but just not as interesting as I wanted. Also the MC has very basic boring abilities. More story and understanding and less fighting would have made it better. Not getting the next book probably.

liked it a lot avoids a lot of typical litrpg cringe tropes while sticking with a familiar formula with enough variation that it's unique. worth the credit in my opinion.

I received a free code in exchange for an honest review. RGP seems to have a 6th sense for finding great authors, it's worth at least trying anything they put out now.

Rushed through fight after fight and in mere months, reached absurd levels of power. Felt exhausting. Unique ghost cultivation, huge skill page and great narrator carries the audiobook.
