DEMONS NEST: The continuing saga of Goddess Adoni’s Descendants; Maids of Merr.

In chapter one, inhabitants of the peaceful island of Merr were attacked and butchered by the Pirates of the Skull. Princess Selena of Merr vowed to make them pay with their lives. She enlisted help from Goddess Adoni’s mother to form an army of mermaids. That army retaliated against the skulls and sent them running away.

At the end of that chapter, the Pirates of the Skull were back in a force double the size of the first. They wanted revenge for that first encounter with Merr’s army of mermaids. This time, they would settle for nothing less than genocide.

In this chapter, Demon’s Nest, the people on the island of Merr watched nervously as the pirates approached. They knew Princess Selena and her army of Maids of Merr was ready, but would it be enough? Selena’s warriors were armed with mystical powers provided by the mother of Adoni. That proved to be more than enough.

The battle did not go well for the Pirates of the Skull. Only one ship escaped. The captain of that ship did not know his escape was part of Selena’s plan. She let one ship escape, knowing it would limp back to its nest. The demon’s nest. The one place used as a command post for the Pirates of the Skull navy. Selena’s Maids of Merr were determined to end the threat posed by the pirates one last and final time.

They were surprised to find the nest was nothing more than another kingdom under siege by the pirates. Limani was not the nest of pirates they expected to find. Instead, it was nothing more than another civilization of people being terrorized by the Pirates of the Skull.

With Selena’s leadership, the Maids of Merr and the Limani kingdom joined forces to destroy the remaining faction of the Pirates of the Skull navy. They killed its king and commandeered its ships. Limani was freed. The Maids of Merr had accomplished their objective. All the marauders that massacred Merr were dead. But that was not the end they hoped for.

The Maids of Merr discovered the destruction of the Skulls was not enough to ensure the safety of Merr Island. To put a stop to the threat, they had to confront the underworld witchcraft and its demon that spawned the Pirates of the Skull. If the leaders were not eliminated, another such gang could be formed to attack Merr again.

The underworld had become fearful of Selena and her army of mermaids. The demon who initiated the attacks on Merr knew if she did not stop the Maids of Merr, they would destroy the underworld movement to rule all civilizations on Earth.
When the Maids of Merr left Limani, the underworld attacked them. It created a hurricane storm that took the warriors to an uncharted island far below the equator. A battle had been won but the war was not over. This time, the demon chose the battleground were a mermaid dolphin tail would do them no good.
