A candid and open biography on the life of Stevie Nicks. Some of the material in this book cross reference easily with the books “Storms” by Carol Ann Harris on her life with Lindsey Buckingham and Fleetwood Mac, and Making Rumours by Ken Callait. So a lot of the information I’d heard through reading these aforementioned books. However there were quotes from interviews I’d never heard so it offers a pretty darn good mix of information. I found it to be wistful, and tragic and triumphant at the same time because that’s what her life was. She’s a trooper! 5 stars all around!

I loved how she sounded when she was doing English accents whenever quoting Mick Fleetwood or Christine McVie. Riveting tale, and Stevie Nicks is truly an inspiration to me.

I had been trying to decide if I should get this book, or one on Fleetwood Mac. To my delight, this does a great job of covering both. It was one of those books that made me want to keep driving, just so that I could listen longer.
Christina Delaine's voice is perfect for the book.

This book is as much a testament to Stevie as it is a time capsule that surveys culture and music over a decades-long period. I talked about it for weeks and enjoyed listening to old and new music along the way to complement the writing.

If you’re a Stevie or Fleetwood fan, this will be the most enjoyable experience down memory lane with so many new and never heard before stories to surprise and delight you. I was on a musical experience right along with reading since I kept opening up Spotify every time the author talked about a song and how/why it was written, I’d go straight to the song and listen. It was so much fun to hear all the behind the scenes stories of the tours, the relationships, and the music. I’m actually sad it’s over and I wish it were longer. The author did an incredible job with putting this piece of work together. I highly recommend it!

Well written and researched, this bio is a fascinating look at rock n’roll’s most dynamic, enigmatic and enduring frontwoman and songwriter. The reader does a mostly adequate job but I took off a star for some mispronounced words and exaggerated elocution of foreign words. In any case, this is a great listen. Ultra Stevie fans will not be disappointed, and initiates will surely be drawn into her magical milieu.

some things I knew and suspected but loved her life as I grew along side. tragic and touching. I have went through the same things with her music. still a fan and finally seen her sober concert

Nicely written and performed in a Switzerland-neutral tone. Great story woven without speculation, just facts the author had gleaned from other primary sources. Well researched and put together.
