About the book
Grandma Gerda is eighty-three years old, still very agile for her age and terribly curious. Even more, since she´s been living on her little farm on her own. So naturally, she finds the people, who moved into the nearby cottage a few months ago, very suspicious with all their hustling and bustling in and out of the cottage. With homemade stews and cake she wheedles her way into the lives of Thekla, Agneta, Okko, Siggi und Herbert, in order find out what is really going on there. And then, quite unexpectedly, she needs the help of Soko Norddeich 117 herself, when she finds a dead body in her henhouse with an axe sticking out of the neck.

Moa Graven is an German writer of Crime Storys and was born in Ostfriesland Germany. She started writing Crime in year of 2013 at age over fifty years and now, she is living only for writing. It’s a dream, she said. She lives with her husband und two lovely dogs on nature land in East Frisian.

Oma Gerda ist mit ihren 83 Jahren noch recht flott auf den Beinen und oft von Neugier getrieben, seit sie alleine auf ihrem kleinen Hof lebt. So erscheinen ihr auch die Leute suspekt, die vor ein paar Monaten in die kleine Bauernkate ganz in ihrer Nähe gezogen sind und dort wie im Taubenschlag ein und aus gehen. Mit selbstgemachten Eintöpfen schleicht sie sich bei Thekla, Agneta, Okko, Siggi und Herbert ein, um Näheres zu erfahren. Und dann plötzlich braucht sie die Soko Norddeich 117 in ganz persönlicher Sache, denn ein Toter liegt mit einer Axt im Nacken in ihrem Hühnerstall.

Zur Autorin: Moa Graven ist Ostfriesin und gehört zu den erfolgreichsten Krimiautorinnen in Deutschland. 2017 eröffente sie ein Krimihaus, wo man sie auch besuchen kann.
