Unfortunately the current hot grumpy doctor, Chase Davis, wants nothing to do with her.

Chase has been running the small town's family practice just fine since his father and the other older doctor he shared the place with retired a few years back. He doesn't need help, thank you very much.

He especially doesn't need help from some eternally optimistic, absurdly beautiful, blonde city girl who's likely to leave as soon as she realizes Love Springs doesn't sell fancy pants skinny caramel mocha lattes at the local cafe.

To him, Amy's just some newcomer, the kind of girl who thinks she wants what small town life has to offer, but when it comes down to it, she's just going to leave as soon as something easier comes alone.

Amy's ready for the challenge and will do anything and everything to prove to the frustratingly attractive, sinfully muscular Chase that she's here to stay.

Even if it means accidentally falling in love with him...

I've listened to a few virtual voice books now, and some of them are okay, but this one just stinks. There is no differentiation between the characters in dialog, no inflection or emotion at all, which led to a dull listen.

On top of that the plot was clunky and beyond predictable (and not in a good way). There was nothing interesting or endearing about any of the characters and nothing to keep the reader engaged.

Overall, a flop for me and I'm glad I didn't spend money on this.

Lacks emotions and tone

Book was an ok listen. I became unimpressed and bored. I hit the increase speed to get to the end of the book. Even the sex was boring. This could almost be a Clean listen.
