Easily one of my favorite books from this year. Easily.

This book was aaaammmmmaaaazzziiiinnnggg!

I started listening to this book on a road trip with one of my friends, and let me tell you, that car got STEAMY. This book is HOT, and when I got home from the trip, I spent the next five hours listening so I could hear how it ended!

The audio for this book was really, really excellent, and a good audiobook always bumps up my rating and improves my feelings about a story. There are two narrators for this story, Teddy Hamilton, who did the voice of Jamie Canning, and Jacob Morgan, who did the voice of Ryan Wesley. I preferred the narration of Jacob Morgan for his sexy, understated performance, but both guys did a PHENOMENAL job. There was so much emotion, so much talent in their voices that I KNOW that both of these guys will be on my audiobook radar. Why don't more M/M authors (or M/F, for that matter), use them!? These guys are A-team material!

But the story is what got me. Just right in the feels! I just DIED over it. First of all, I'm a huge fan of sexual discovery stories, as I'll call them, and I LOVED discovering Jamie's bisexuality along with him. And loooord, you guys know I love a (view spoiler). Those sex scenes were SMOKING HOT, with so much sexual tension that I was at the edge of my seat.

I'm not usually one to go gaga for sports romance or big, muscle-men, but I think hockey might be the spot where I make my exception. In fact, I've had a great string of sports romances lately, so maybe I should change my tune. Everything in this book, from the hockey details to the kids they coached to the friends-to-lovers story arc, just hit the right note for me.

This book was veeerrryyy close to making my all-time favorites list, which I'm very exclusive with, and I'm still debating adding this one. It was one of those stories that made me choke up with emotion, and left me feeling raw and happy and overwhelmed. The LOVE is there and so powerful.

Awesome job, Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen. You both became auto-buy authors for me.

The narration of this book was phenomenal, pair with excellent writing makes this book five stars all the way.

I'm not sure I ever wanted to be a guy until I was jealous of these two.Tension, lust, and good old fashioned love are a huge part of this story. Let's not forget the highly erotic and hot flash inducing sex scenes. 

I can honestly say that this book will make you crave both the kind of connection these two have and their sex life too. I'm told I look good in green and it's a good thing because I truly am jealous of the heat and love in these pages.

If you are looking for the naughty on a whole new level, I strongly beg you to consider the audiobook because two hot growling guys is way more fun than using your inner voice. Also consider how much more motivational it is to hear it in their "voices".

Yeah, this was good. I am so glad that I finally got around to reading it. I have seen so many glowing reviews for this series for the past couple of years but for one reason or another, I never made it a priority. Once I got started with this one, I didn't want to stop listening and fell in love with both Jamie and Wes before I even knew what was happening. I really enjoyed my time with this audiobook.

What is it that just seems to make romance and hockey go together? Jamie and Wes are college level hockey players at the start of this story but they have known each other for a long time from their years at hockey camp. I really liked the fact that they had a history together and it was fun to piece together what exactly happened during their teen years. These two were best friends until they weren't but it was obvious how much they missed each other.

Jamie and Wes were such great characters. I really liked both of them immensely from the start of the story and my love with them grew as the story progressed. They were both really good people and I loved watching them deal with everyone in their lives. They were very careful with each other especially at the start because neither one wanted to mess up their relationship again. These two were just so much better together and watching them figure things out was a joy.

Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan did a fabulous job with this story. The story is told from alternating points of view and each of the narrators read their character's chapters. I just thought that they were able to bring these two to life. I felt so many emotions in their reading and wanted to listen for hours at a time. I think that these narrators were able to take a great story to the next level and I think my decision to listen to this story was the right one.

I would highly recommend this book to others. I don't read a lot of MM romance but I found a lot of magic in Jamie and Wes's love story. It was just wonderful to watch this pair fall for each other and I cannot wait to listen to the rest of their story!

Sarina and Elle tell a touching story of two guys who’ve know each other for years... camp buddies... as they grow older one falls in love with the other... as guys dare each other things change for them... they end up finding love . Surprisingly, Jamie can’t get enough of his friend . College and pro hockey mixes in and with all the usual angst, the move in together... Teddy and Jacob make this an easy listen even if your not sure you can do M/M... it’s love in its purest form, with two families who take the news differently... sex is hot, story is touching...

I fell in love with Jamie and Ryan back when I initially read this book. And I was salivating while waiting for the release of Us.

This audiobook just adds to the overall enjoyment of the story. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are spot on. And add additional depth to these phenomenal characters.

HIM is a standout MM romance because it hits all the right notes. The characters are unapologetically confident about who they are; the sex is as hot as it is unfettered with hangups; and the romance is just the right tone to make the reader swoon. Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Morgan have the right talent and voices to bring Jaimie and Wes to life. Enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to authors Ms. Kennedy and Ms. Bowen for writing a story I needed to hear.

I truly did not expect this book to be what it was. First the narration was unbelievable!!! Second, the writing is crazy good!! Third, this story was sooo good! I loved the friendship and the progression. I loved the doubt and the reassurance, but mostly I loved the love. This book was everything and more.
