This particular story was of a time that I had very little knowledge of, she opens up that time and draws you in. I am really looking forward to her next book.

The historical and biblical elements of the story made the story most intriguing. the scriptures from the psalms enhanced the emotion of the story, and made it difficult to step away from. I loved the intertwining of scripture into the story; it is the path to live an abundant life then, as it is now!

Well developed characters, background and storyline also! Heroes, damsels, villains and favored pets/animals complete the picture. The scenes are so well described, it is easy to imagine them.

My Favorite so far!! thought-provoking. Made me do some soul-searching! Kept me on the edge of my seat couldn’t stop listening. I am going to get the next one.

The narrator was excellent. I liked that. The storyline was different, and I felt like I was learning some thing as I went. It was amazing how she tied it all together.
