This is a series full of wonderful characters and an intriguing plot! Louisa Masters has crafted a fascinating world. I found myself grinning out loud during so many scenes.

Joel Leslie deserves 5-stars for every character he voiced in these amazing tales…and that is a whole lot of stars! I’ll be listening to this one over and over.

Louisa Masters creates the best characters and most extraordinary stories. I was hooked within the first few pages. I have recently become a huge fan of audio books and the narrator really brings every character to life. There are funny, happy, sad, and steamy moments in all the books. I laughed and cried throughout and savored each HEA. The author has quickly become one of my favories. I can't wait to see who's story is next. Please continue this series, Ms. Masters. There are still so many more head to enjoy!

As I titled my review, the world building is excellent, very interesting and kept me listening. The voice acting is peak, super great, absolutely loved it through every book in the series, they do great at conveying the emotions of the scenes for sure.

I will say, I came to this series for romance and spicy scenes, these books did not deliver in those two aspects from my perspective. I will say, for romance, I enjoyed the first and last books the most, they felt the most interesting when it comes to the chemistry between the characters. Noah's story and Alister's were sadly disappointing, both of their books felt like their romance was taking a back seat in comparison to the main plot. It also became lecturing (towards the listener) at times, like yes, it is important to mention how important consent is, of course, but it became too much and takes you out of the immersion with just how much the author mentions it in the vampire book.

Fortunately, the main plot is very interesting! It kept me to the very end and I feel it was worth the listen! Still, if you want romance to be the key point and if spicy scenes are important to keep your attention, I would not recommend since the chemistry was just not there most the time and the spicy stuff was kept to a minimum and unmemorable for the most part.

Put simply, I'd recommend if you're interested in stories with good world building, great narration, interesting characters and some fun plot twists.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Once I got all the characters straight, it was fun and feisty and each couple came with their own story. I enjoy all Lousia's stories and Joel Leslie is a delight to listen to-100%

This is a comfort series. I laughed so much listening to this. I feel all the love and heartache and romance of this wonderful world Louisa Masters has created. It's such a beautiful story. I love this series so much! I'm so glad there are spin-offs. This is so incredibly well written. I've listened to this series repeatedly and I don't think I could ever get enough.
This is Joel Leslie's best performance ever. He's so amazing narrating this box set of the Hidden Species series.

The characters were brilliant, the author’s incredible way of making each and every one of them come alive. The humor was off the charts, I found myself just smiling and laughing out loud throughout each story.
