Lots of mystery, love, loss, grief, confusion, anger, betrayal, also a potentially evil AI bot. Lots of suspects, lots of motives. Had me thinking all the way through. Really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed all the twist and turn. Each time I thought I knew where we were headed there was a pivot taking me by surprise! LB is an absolute delight to listen to.

Different than the other books I’ve read and love by this author, but got completely hooked by this storyline. Believable in the current world of emerging AI tech.

I am a huge JD Kirk/Barry Hutchinson fan & honestly I was skeptical, but had to buy this and give it a try. WOW. This is unlike any of his other work and yet, so gripping, so un-put-downable. It had me guessing to the end. The narration: Louise Brealey & David Tennant are superb. Loved the Zertex reference. All of it - Absolutely brilliant.

I love all of JD Kirk’s books and characters. His books are how my interest in Scotland and seeing the highlands started. This book is very different from the rest, but it was an excellent story. I love his ability to make you think you know what the twist is going to be. I always love to see that there is a new book and look forward to the next one.
