Hounded by Marla Brazil was a good quick read. Claire stumbles upon a puppy that was left alone in the woods. As time goes by Claire realizes that Fido isn’t who she thinks. This was a great quick read.

I loved this little story. Not gonna lie I normally stay clear of books that are less than 3 hours. I think they don't give you enough story and time to get to know the characters but boy was I wrong with this one!! This was a very quick listen and very quick paced. You get to know Claire who at a young age looses her parents and has to live with her aunt and uncle. She comes across a white wolf like puppy laying with its dead mother. She feels instantly connected to the pup because it also is an orphan. She grows up with this pup over years and the bond they have is very strong. The ending though oh my goodness! This was quite the emotional ride for only 2 hours! I very much enjoyed it!
Kate Taylor did a great job narrating this and I loved Marla Braziel's work! I will check out more by this author!

Great short read. Some new mythology to me in the form of "devil dogs" sorry I read that and think marines. This is a story that covers from a young teen into her adulthood and though it reads like a YA book it is definitely for a slightly older or mature audience mainly for one scene in the book. The plot was well thought out and the characters well well developed even for such a short book. By the end I saw who each person was and what drove them. From power trips to lust from a good heart to a true friendship.

The narration was excellent, I really like how she handled the book, The pacing was excellent, not over dramatized so the story shone through.

I will definitely be looking for more from both this author and narrator.

Loved this great story about an orphaned girl and her unique dog. Great narrator too! I received a review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Great paranormal listen

I found this little novella to be just, plain, bittersweet but fun too... and also, a bit suprising in it's graphic nature. A young woman finds an orphan puppy... This is a story that delves into love and loyalty between owner and... "pet" (?)
Kate Tyler did a great job narrating this audio story, but, I wish the production quality had been a bit better (purely a technical issue).
If you enjoyed the short-srory collection,  Must Love Hellhounds, then I think that you're gonna enjoy this one!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review because I request it because the cover looked nice.

This was an interesting read. It was not overly weird but it was also different. I enjoyed Claire but at times I wanted her to know that not everyone is your friend and the ones that you would not expect are your friends. I loved the relationship that she had with Fido and with Sara.

I will be reading more of Marla Braziel. She is new to me but this story will not be the last. In another review someone mentioned the sound quality at times. There were times where it went in an other and sounded as though it was in the bathroom. I am glad it only happened on a few occasions but it was unexpected when it did happen.

The narrator did a wonderful job and I am glad that she captivated me with her narration.

Not your average shifter tale

A different kind of love story. A story of two lost souls finding each other and finding love and comfort with each other.

It was a fast-paced story and very informative, as well. The narration was good. At some parts though the narrator talked too fast, like in a hurry.

I was given a copy of this book at my request in exchange of an honest review.

This short story will send you on a roller coaster of emotions. It is a sweet story of loyalty and love that I thoroughly enjoyed. The narration was on point keeping me captivated from start to finish.
