Revenge means carrying a loaded shotgun.
She has been planning this for 10 years. She's thought of everything and trained for this one single night. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
He's a serial killer who has eluded the police for the last 10 years. When his latest victim turns out to not be who she appears, the hunter will discover what it's like to be the prey.
When these two very determined foes clash, there will be blood. One way or another, only one of them is coming out of this alive.

I mean, really, Allie could really kick some a**. The end of the book she took a serious beating but she also kicked the bad guys a** and killed him too. And she’d been after him for 10 years. She was after him for killing her sister.
I was looking at the reviews on Amazon and found this, “obsession for vengeance she not only lets four people be killed by her target she also risks letting him get away.” That could not be further from the truth. First of all Allie was taped up with duct tape at the cabin when the Roadside Killer killed two of the young people that were in the cabin. He did not kill four and she didn’t “let” him kill those two. Why do people write things that never happened in a book? Geez!
There was swearing in this book and the F-bomb was used 15 times. No romance, no nothing. Just killing, kidnapping and some really good fighting.
As to the narrator: The men’s voices were good and he did read with some emotion BUT all the women sounded just like him. He didn’t really try to sound womanly.
An OK read..

What did you love best about Hunter/Prey?
I was a little worried that there would be torture and gore which I'm a little sensitive to. This book was written very well with all the adventure and none of the gross out factor.Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I didn't want to put this book down! Every page I wanted to see what happened next and wasn't disappointed when I did turn the page. I really liked the cat and mouse between the heroine and the killer.Which character – as performed by Joshua Reiniger – was your favorite?
The heroine was great. Strong and left you thinking that she could be real. Joshua Reiniger did a great job in performing the book.Any additional comments?
I really liked this book. It's not a genre I would normally pick up but I'm so glad I did! I enjoyed every tense moment and will be reading all of Sam Sisavath's books. Great author!Great thriller revenge book by Sam

Where does Hunter/Prey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I like this type of story where the cat and mouse roles change so often that you are caught up in the chase, so top 10%.What was one of the most memorable moments of Hunter/Prey?
Early on at the cabin.Have you listened to any of Joshua Reiniger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
To be honest I would have to look him up, however he did a good job.Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The ending of course. :)Any additional comments?
