The exciting novel I am Adam is part of a chronicle concerning a mystical figure known as Domatarious. A Spiritual Guide, Domatarious has the responsibility to preserve the truths of the Power of Love and Light within a new species known as humans. In the book I Am Adam, we are introduced to the new human creations as they experience love, joy, fear, and the destructive power of the ego's shadow.

I so wanted to enjoy this book. The synopsis looked interesting, a new twist on angels. I tried and tried but could not get past the awful pedestrian narration. I had promised myself not to listen to anymore books read by the authors because with one or two exceptions, they are awful. Being able to write a book does not mean you can read it well. Good narrators are trained and they do exactly that, narrate. Narrating is different from reading. I was so frustrated because I was looking forward to listening to this book and was so dismayed when I found myself trying to concentrate on monotonous, hesitant reading that made the characters sound rather dimwitted.
