Would you consider the audio edition of I Am Number Four to be better than the print version?
Although I hate the fact that five is such a crybaby I still enjoyed the read. It at least gave insight on why 5 is such a jerk and a traitor. Even with the little stuff he went through, to me it still didn't make sense for him to turn his back on his people! I hope they get him good in the next bookWhat did you like best about this story?
I liked the whole story pretty much.five is a little crybaby

*****SPOILER ALERT*****
I thought these stories did a great job of showing where Five gets his attitude. It shows he's always been the type of character who will never admit when he's wrong. He is a typical "whiney teenager" who needs to grow up and hopefully will. He is not at all what the others are and would never help to save earth. He his where he should be, with the losers, and not with the winners!
If you are a fan of this series, I highly recommend this installment. The series would be incomplete without it!
Nice backstory on Five

This set covers three short stories, featuring two of the more enigmatic characters from the Lorien Legacies, Five and Mark James.
The First, "Five's Legacy" covers Five's history up to the point he falls under the control of the Mogadorians. The third story, "Five's Betrayal" covers Five's backstory under Mogadorian control up to where he joins the other Garde in "The Fall of Five". I enjoyed these stories although they were a little tough to listen to just due to Five's personality and his general bad life choices. You pretty much feel the same way towards him after these stories as you ultimately feel in the books, not sure exactly how to feel about him, although he seems ultimately tragic to me after finishing the second backstory. The Five backstories are interesting and they do shed some light on events leading up to "The Fall of Five". They help explain some of his deep animosity toward Nine and his general instability.
The Second story, "Return to Paradise" features Mark James and what happens to him and Sarah Hart following the events in "I Am Number Four". It does cover the story behind what was really happened with John Smith's ill fated meeting with Sarah in "The Power of Six" as well as how Mark got started with "They Walk Among Us". As with Five, Mark is one of those enigmatic characters you sort of root for and sort of dislike at the same time, but it was actually fun to hear a story from his point of view. His are probably the funniest of the narrations in the Lost Files stories and will definitely make you laugh. ("The Lost Files: Rebel Allies" has the second of the Mark James backstories which continues to cover his adventures after this story.)
In some ways these are some of the more interesting backstories in the Lost Files because there really isn't much on these two characters' background in the main series, so it all strikes into new territory where you aren't sure where things will really end up.
So there you go, three stories with two of the series' anti-heroes. I enjoyed the listen and would definitely recommend it for those looking for something more to read in the Lorien Legacies.
