The Genetic Wars that turned most of the planet into a wasteland are over. If she fails, she faces a lifetime of loneliness and drudgery in the boroughs. But how much is she willing to sacrifice to be the supergirl she's always wanted to be? And when she uncovers dark secrets kept by both sides, does she dare start another war to reveal the truth?

i enjoyed the story. wonder where it ends up. however, the performance was terrible. With that said, it did not destroy my enjoyment of the story. I am most pleased with how the main character never quite gets what she wants. seems more realistic.

I found the story absolutely fascinating. what an amazing way to mix the superhero genre with the dystopian society genre. Loved Normand's character, very interesting.
I usually love when the author reads their own work, but in the case it faded in and out and sounded like a robot most of the time.
