"Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dietrich's If This Gets Out is an absolute showstopper! Equal parts edgy and adorable, this bright, joyful book has everything I look for in a queer YA romance.” (Phil Stamper, best-selling author of The Gravity of Us)
Eighteen-year-olds Ruben Montez and Zach Knight are two members of the boy-band Saturday, one of the biggest acts in America. Along with their bandmates, Angel Phan and Jon Braxton, the four are teen heartbreakers in front of the cameras and best friends backstage. But privately, cracks are starting to form: Their once-easy rapport is straining under the pressures of fame, and Ruben confides in Zach that he’s feeling smothered by management’s pressure to stay in the closet.
On a whirlwind tour through Europe, with both an unrelenting schedule and minimal supervision, Ruben and Zach come to rely on each other more and more, and their already-close friendship evolves into a romance. But when they decide they’re ready to tell their fans and live freely, Zach and Ruben start to truly realize that they will never have the support of their management. How can they hold tight to each other when the whole world seems to want to come between them?

A well anticipated book turned into a MUST-READ!
an important topic that is usually hidden, brought to the front in this creation with such a loving and accepting embrace of the concept 'love is love'.
it really is a MUST READ!
I had to hold myself from finishing it in a day.
LOVED,LOVED,LOVED IT!💙👑💚
Could it be any better?

- Friends to lovers, they're adorable
- a bisexual MC
- Bi awakening, my favorite
Things I disliked:
- Boys being stupid (willfully misunderstanding each other, pushing each other away, straight up being cruel). A little of that goes a long way, and it felt like there was a lot of it.
The narrator was very good.
Delightful friends to lovers

The characters are fun, and for the most part, relatable. While I do like Ramon De Ocampo as a narrator, I felt like this audiobook could have benefited from either having two separate narrators, or selecting someone else with more vocal range. A lot of De Ocampo’s voices sounded the same, and I was often confused with who was speaking.
Overall, I enjoyed it! It felt like I was on tour with these boys. Is it a little angsty at times? Sure. A little idyllic in others? Absolutely. But sometimes we need that in our crazy world.
A Fun, Fan-Fic-esque Tour de Force!

Life is hard but it’s harder in the public eye and even harder when the people who are supposed to support you tell you that you can’t come pout for your own good. Do you believe your team or your gut?
I loved this book. It took me through all the emotions. Ramon de Ocampo is superb. I love listening to him; he’s hands down my favorite narrator.
It should get out! It’s amazing

It’s also a window into the entertainment industry and how child stars can be pushed into the boxes that make the most money but might not be the best for the stars in the long run. I was cheering the boys on until the end. They have a bright future - the one they want - in front of them.
