Tiffany Richardson went from the bottom to the top in a matter of months, because she stumbled into a job that landed her executive producer and head writer for a hit television series called Boy Crazy. The queen of L.A. Tressa, Kory's soon to be bride, not only wants to keep Tiffany and Kory apart, before they jump the broom, she also wants to make sure Tiffany's show never airs on her father's network. Although Kory and Tiffany realize that there is still an attraction for each other, Kory decides to move on with Tressa and Tiffany decides to focus on her career, but love is love and Tressa's schemes and manipulative devices to destroy Tiffany causes her to lose more than Kory in the end.

I like listening to books when I am working around the house and this book kept me thoroughly entertained while I did my house work. Good characters and the narrator was fantastic.

Ok. I wasn't completely on board with it starting off as the main character being a side chick but I couldn't stop reading. The story was a great one.

I absolutely loved everything about this book! Of course I hate the villain of the book but, who wouldn’t? I’m going to download part 2 now! You might want to get both at once because, you’re not going to be able to stop listening!!! Oh and the narration is awesome!!

It did have some unexpected twist and turns and was overall a good story. Im glad the deception didnt drag out. The narrators male voice was a little cringe but 🤷🏽‍♀️ she did well overall. I dont need a part two but I'll keep listening.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I would recommend it to a homegirl only. I think it's definitely for women more so than men. The Jamaican and male accents by the narrator were pretty off but overall the author had a good entertaining story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I'm Doin' Me?

The most memorable moments were the racist conversation Tiffany walked in on at her old job and at the wedding when Korey spills the beans out to everyone there.

Which character – as performed by Lynnette Freeman – was your favorite?

Tiffany is the best. The other voices were not so good.

Who was the most memorable character of I'm Doin' Me and why?

Most memorable was Keith. He sounded the homie everyone wants. Very similar to the best friend in the movie Get Out that ends up saving the main character. I would have loved to hear more from him.

This book was excellent! The writing was exceptional and the story concept was fresh and original. The actors were definitely on point and made the story come alive. I have aleady recommended this audible book to several friends.
