Def made me laugh. Lintz makes Nastasya SO funny!!! Her sarcasm and wits, snide commentary on everything going on was just great. Lintz did a fantastic job.Any additional comments?
This book was better than my expectations. Nastasya's voice throughout the book was SO funny! It was very entertaining to hear her sarcasm and comments.The writer/character did milk a couple of things and made me think "okay, okay. I GET IT! MOVE ON!" some times, but overall she had me laugh and enjoy her story.
The movement of the book is a little slow but that didn't bother me most of the time. I loved how Tiernan skillfully put in Nastasya's background, and how vivid everything was.
The characters are good, interesting characters I haven't quite read before. Some of the people she encounters are so wise and lovely, some are hilariously obnoxious, and Nastasya herself is hilariously obnoxious right back to said characters that it just made me laugh.
This is a story of growth. Make no mistake. There's no giant-world ending-we're all going to die-conflict here. You know something big and dangerous is definitely coming in Nastasya's future, but it doesn't take place in this book. This book is more of introducing you to the characters, their pasts and experiencing Nastasya's growth as a person.
Even with the lack of mind-blowing conflict, it was still a really really good read. Nothing every felt too much like a waste of time.
I definitely enjoyed this book and will be reading the next one.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! The book is excellent, unique and intriguing that will draw you in from the first chapter until the very last.The characters were some of my favorite from my recently read books especially Reign.

4.5 Stars!Excellent book with mystery, magic, and super hot immortals in rehab. You may be thinking that this is a semi-strange combo, but it works, trust me.
I listened to this on audible and the narration was wonderful.
I loved all the characters especially Reign. I'm hoping we get to see more action between him and our main character in book 2. I have a feeling it is going to get a bit steamy. I can't wait to start listening to the sequel.

And it's only because I've already read some of her work that I knew to stick with this one. The main character is so cringy I could not stand her... I thought about stopping the book, but I realized she started out like that for a reason, I stuck with it.... and now I love the main character! She's flawed, messy, imperfect, but very relatable.
