I wasn't sure what to expect with this audiobook, but I'm thrilled I bought it. It actually feels like the FIRST investment in my sons' financial education. It's chock full of all the relevant information and written in a clear, informal manner that my kids will easily grasp. It explains basics like diversification, how to research funds, and ultimately, how to make smart investment decisions. The best part is my eldest seems really fired up to continue and get started with a small investment. Highly recommended!

Even tho I'm not a teen I have learned a lot. I bought this book for my teen bro, so I decided to listen to it before. And, amazing. I studied investing in college but this was very educative. I hope my lil bro will learn a lot from this book. Financial education is soooooooo important, So we, as parents or older brothers, need to take that seriously!

I got this for my grandson, who is in high school and already asking questions about the stock market. I wanted to give him a strong foundation and this book hits all the marks and overall- granny approves. I especially like the frankness of the book and making sure to keep expectations and emotions out of it while teaching what to do. It lays everything out understandably so that any beginner (no matter their age) can start investing in the stock market. Great information here!

She loves to read and I love to get her books. But I first filter them. I thought this was great and could help her to gain interest and take a little control. She has now, following the steps, started a small account. I can see how empowered it has made her. Her favorite thing was how simple this book was to follow and it didn’t over complicate the goal. It is important to teach teens how to save and invest for their future. I bought this book for my teenage son as he was worried how he was going to afford to live, buy a house and live on his own. We listened to this book together and our favorite sections was getting into the game. We learned the 3 types of investing account and what the differences are. We also learned how to decide on what investments to make, the basics of investing and strategizing. We are now ready to try our had in investing in stocks to better his future and mine as well. This is a great gift for his friends as he is now telling them to buy this audiobook.
