Acerca de esta escucha

Theology professor Mary Cortez is saved from certain attack at the hands of two drunken frat boys by a homeless man in a fur coat.

Evangelical preacher Nathaniel Brymstone snorts a line before an otherworldly meeting with the devil himself.

Dwayne Akins sells his soul for a perpetual high.

Rock singer Zane Enzo has an important show coming up, but the blood-filled dreams are keeping him distracted and distant.

And Lucifer...he just wants to break the world.

It’s Over is the first in a trilogy of movie tie-ins written by Caleb Straus and adapted by horror author C. Dennis Moore (the Angel Hill novels, and the Monsters of Green Lake series).

It's the beginning of the end, and the people of Earth have no idea what’s coming their way. The devil has been planning this since his days in the Garden of Eden. Finally, his plans are coming to fruition. What he hadn’t counted on, though, was the free will his mortal pawns were given. And they’re not going to go so gently.

It’s Over sets the stage for an apocalypse like you’ve never seen before.

A good beginning to a post apocalyptic fever dream. I find that it could have used more exposition about the world and the prophesy that comes to a head at the end. Last chapter is quite good for fans of scripture and theology. It's definitely a first act and might work better when combined with the other two books into one coherent story. Just didn't feel long enough of a set-up. Still rather enjoyable and good writing prose. For the audiobook there were several times when sentences were repeated or changed from what is written in the book which may throw some off if they're reading and listening at the same time

For those obsessed with the end times...
