Delightful mystery/romance. Main Characters well developed and believable. Story holds interest and suspense builds. Cassandra Livingston does an excellent job as narrator. Loved Otto!! Story held together well. Just enough characters. I look forward to reading mor by Carla Neggers. Excellent read.

Very engaging story! One of those books you can’t put down until the very end!

Narrator uses many voices for same person. Hard to know who is talking. Storyline tends to rehash, like the reader missed something and needs to be retold frequently.

Too predictable and interesting enough. Boring would recommend. Too many fluffy words describing a scene made you lose interest.

Overall, the story was good - not hold your breath exciting - but good. The narrator was okay and and because she had to be quite a few different characters, I gave her three stars. What bothered me was the dog’s name “Otto” which I think is correct but most of the time, it sounded like “Auto” and it drove me crazy. But other than that, the story was good but could have been more detailed. I would call it light reading. And I loved Otto!
