I have been honored and recognized for my accomplishments way beyond what I would have ever imagined in my lifetime. From chopping cotton on a plantation in Camden, Arkansas, to owning one bus and then a fleet, this ole country boy has been truly blessed.
During my days as an owner of Ray & Ross Transport Inc., I traveled down a lot of long and winding roads, but I learned to shift gears and keep going. In 2022, not even heart complications that required major surgery could stop me from getting involved in Seniors United Car March (a George Floyd Jr. protest). His pain was suddenly my pain.
A lot of people become discouraged when trying to achieve a goal and they give up way too soon. It’s okay to lose hope, but don’t lose heart. I often wondered how I made it through my trials and tribulations, but after writing this book, I think I know the answer. I can only hope and pray that my story will inspire you to keep on rollin'.
