I had read Kismet before and now listened to it. Loved it both times! A sweet story with little angst. Lori Prince was the perfect narrator. Will look for other T.B. M books to read.

In the renditions of what not to do in a relationship. Witty and bantering of two people meeting somewhere they wouldn't be if they had luck? Love the story and some of the funny senerios. The perfect performance by L. Prince to take you away into a life.

I like sex scenes but not to many I would have liked more story more details of what the MC did in life, not just hints…
For this book Lori Prince saved the day. She was excellent

This book was amazing!! Lori Prince is a phenomenal narrator. she is one of my absolute favorite voice actors and that's on that. The performance was stellar! When you read a book, it draws a picture for you, when LP narrates she adds color and life to the drawing. She acts out her characters she doesn't just read to read. Literally takes me away every time. Incredible!!

The story was great! It was low angst which was exactly what I needed. Don't get me wrong it has enough angst to keep the pages turning but it was due to outside forces not our two MCs breaking up at the 90% mark for the usual dramatic effect. I loathe this writing style with an absolute passion. It was good to listen to one that really didn't have that. The story flowed. One of the MCs took so long to figure out things but she got there in the end. She's one of those "too nice people" that you just want to shake. Will you have points of frustration? Yes. Will you want to shake our MC saying "grow a spine"? Yes. Will you reread it because it was an amazing sorry with superb narration? Yes! Do I recommend this book? Lol 100%

I enjoyed this one. The story was a little different than the normal formula so that was nice. I loved the characters and the flow of their relationship. Seemed plausible to me the whole way through. Lori was great and I don't know if it's just this book or if I just never noticed it before but Lori sounded a lot like Maggie Gyllenhaal. loved the overall package!

I was given an Audible code for this audio book and am grateful that I can share this review. I am a serious fan of T.B.Markinson's work. Kismet was an exceptional read. It stirred feelings that surprised me. This such a positive and engaging set of characters and their journey navigating their relationship is so well written. I am not always on board for warm and fuzzy but that is my best and in my opinion a great way to describe this book. I also know that the statement can be misunderstood. The clearest I can be is to say it is like her other books an awesome read and Lori Prince does an outstanding job with the narration. It is a book. I will definitely listen to Kismet again.

fun story

The first 2 1/2 hours were incredible. Just great writing and wonderful chemistry between the two main characters. The storyline loses momentum shortly after. Trading a slow pace and flirty dialogue, for two flimsy sub plots. The majority of this book felt convoluted and spacey. Which is a shame, because the beginning had me truly enthralled.
