The premise for this story sounded good, female vamp/human male but so far, 4+ hours in, I'm bored. She help saves him from dying of a gunshot wound a year before. They meet again in Miami while he's undercover on another case. He's in denial about her being a vamp, she's using her elder power on him. She tries to play with him, he's trying to concentrate on his case, they have sex, they leave/run away from each other -- lather, rinse, repeat.

I heard no connection with either of them. I'm on the fence about liking the vamp so far. For someone who is supposed to be over 2 thousand years old, she seems selfish to me. I get it. Her turning scarred her emotionally but still. She uses him as a toy.

2 hours left. I want to know what happens with the case and if she helps or not but I can't take it anymore.
