Acerca de esta escucha

This collection of Black Knight Chronicles short stories features the ongoing adventures of Jimmy Black and Greg Knightwood (Hard Day's Knight, Back in Black, Knight Moves).

Collected here for the first time are -

"Gone Daddy Gone" - a Black Knight prequel previously only available in the Twelve Worlds charity anthology. In this short story, Jimmy and Greg help a woman with a zombie problem, a husband with a wife problem, and a teenager with a step-parent problem, all at the same time!

"Movie Knight" - There's a demon on the loose in the hospital.

Jimmy and Greg have to kill it before it decides the nursery is a buffet.

So much for a relaxing night at home watching movies.

In this Black Knight Chronicles short story, Jimmy Black, Greg Knightwood and Sabrina Law must race against time to defeat a nasty Chihuahua-demon before it decides the hospital nursery is an all-you-can-eat buffet.

"Black Magic Woman" - It's the annual comic convention - what can go wrong?

You just had to ask, didn't you?

The boys from Black Knight Investigations get tangled up in more than they ever bargained for when they try to help a lost kid find his dad. Hilarity does not ensue when an ancient soul-sucker shows up to drain the local nerd population of vitality and life energy.

If you've ever wondered who would win in a knock-down, drag out fistfight between Jimmy Black and Greg Knightwood, here's your chance to find out!

"Turkey Day Debacle" - Jimmy and Abby go shopping for a Thanksgiving meal in this hilarious holiday short.

This collection also includes the first chapter of Hard Day's Knight, Black Knight Chronicles Vol. 1.

Same old, same old.

A ridiculous amount of hot chicks, (if you're into chic's, yay for you).

If you're into men, well, you're given an abundance amount of fat men, old men, skinny men with big noses blah blah blah.

Good thing the stories were at least action packed or I would have returned this because I'm definitely not the target audience for this tale.

This series is all about juvenile guy humor, so yeah, lots of boobs-n-farts. While these four short stories are set after the first few books, there’s really no harm in starting here and getting a proper taste.
Then, you can get books 1-3 and 4-6 in omnibus collections.

This series is a lot like the author’s Bubba The Monster Hunter series, except this is more college-bros and vampires whereas the Bubba series is more red-necks and fairies. I favor Bubba in Audible format because I prefer John Solo’s narration. However, both series are poorer substitutes for my favorite series by this author: Quincy Harker. All three feature a mouthy, powerful, white MC, but only the Quincy Harker series balances the snark and humor with great back stories, developed story arcs and deeper supporting characters. Also, the Harker series has the best narrator of the lot in James Anderson Foster.

I prefer the shorts in this series
