Lone Star Protector is book #4 in the Hard Justice series. This book opens with fast-paced action and doesn't let up until the end. Nash is tasked with protecting Caroline, despite his hidden longing for her AND that her mother is his boss. Chasing the serial killer that attacked Caroline years ago, intrigue, suspicion, and plot twists kept me listening from start to finish. Each story get better and better with this series. I can't wait for the next one!
Marcus Barton returns again for book #4 and shows why he is the voice of Hard Justice. He has mastered the nuances of all the characters in this series and delivers every.single.time. I'm so thrilled that he continues on as the narrator. It wouldn't be the same without him. 5/5 stars!!
