It started on the last day of high school, a day Diana Hansen had been anticipating for the last 12 years. Now, her real life could begin.

Claire and Austin - who'd always been a cat and had little tolerance for cat wannabes like Sam - were only too ready to take on their "older and wiser" roles. But neither the Keepers nor their cats were prepared for what they found when they tried to cross from their world to the Otherside mall....

Great series, especially for cat lovers. The narrator improved quite a bit since the first book, so by the third book, I really enjoying her reading.

the perfect conclusion to a great trilogy. comedy fantasy at its best. only negative was the reader using voices that changed on the same character or were the same for multiple characters, which kind of blew out immersion. still a great time.

The first book of the series was excellent, the 2nd was pretty good, but this one was horrible. I stopped midway not wanting to torture myself anymore. This was more for YA's, and it seemed to drag on forever. The narrator is a step above Virtual Voice which made an already boring story even worse. I won't give up on the author, especially seeing that other books have different narrators.

I almost quit this book a dozen times over because of the over-the-top narration. When the narrator speaks in the girl's voices - and the cat's voices, it's pretty good. There is nuance and character and I can feel for them, but when she does any others, ANY OTHERS.... It's so - wrong. Like such bad acting in those local cable commercials about car dealerships and legal advice, it's basically unbearable to listen to.

I LOVE Tanya Huff's books, but I'm not going to ever listen to them anymore. Reading them, absolutely, but no more Audible versions for me as long as the same narrator is doing these voices. It loses any real feeling when the bad guys sound like victorian villains and mom sounds like a doddering old lady wearing pearls and drinking high tea. Just way too much.

Nope, can't do it.

Read it... don't listen.
