It was just what I was expecting from Casey, straight and hilarious at the same time, frank and sassy just like her. Thanks to Casey I walked additional miles listening to the audiobook because I couldn’t stop “mid-lesson”. Thanks Casey.

Looking Up is a must read especially the audiobook version. Casey Roman is the best storyteller and the ONLY person who can tell her story.
I've followed Casey's You Tube channel since she began van life, loved her channel from the start. The girls got spunk.
Her storytelling ability is like no other and her photography and videography skills are truly amazing.
New York Times bestseller, here we come!

Casey's story telling is top tier. That said, this is still a story of one's, at times deep, struggles to find purpose and simply how to make a living.

Great story. Engaging, inspiring, positive and funny and read like no one else could. I was sad at the end but not because of the story line, it was because I didn’t want it to end.

I really hope this author writes more. Keep looking up!

I purchased the audio version of Looking Up by Casey Roman because I'm dyslexic. In this case that was a good thing since Casey, the master storyteller herself, enthusiastically read just for me. Her witty humor is unrelenting as she takes the reader from one seemingly impossible adventure to another. The book is so dense with humorous detail that you could read it many times and still smile at the things you missed on previous readings. I don't even feel worthy writing this review so I will spare you. Buy the book if you can keep up or get the audio version and buckle up.
Note; there are many wonderful photos of the people, places and creatures she talks about in the book and a website to find the same photos for the audio version. Enjoy!!!

Best audible book I’ve bought to date! Never have I laughed out loud so many times from a book. This author truly has a gift and we should all be thankful she shared it to the world through “Looking Up”. Her journey and the way she described it is so inspiring and entertaining. Do yourself a favor and get this one! No way will you be disappointed.

What a great read! I haven't reviewed a book in a long time, and it has taken me a good deal of time to write this one because I want to do the author justice. I've followed Casey's YouTube channel for several years now and thought, "This should be an interesting read."

I chose to start my listening on the way back from an exhausting and confusing road trip. I quickly learned I had made the right selection for my journey. Casey both engaged and lifted my mood. I found myself chuckling and outright laughing at so many points I had no trouble staying awake. Sometimes, with an author that has already chronicled adventures in a daily platform there is a fear it will be old material that is replayed in a continued series but, unless I missed a few episodes, I found myself learning things about the author that were new and surprising. I hope she doesn't take this as a ding but sometimes her voice reminded me of Sheldon Cooper--in a good way. Kind of snarky and knowing but oh gosh, humorous!

I was home and into my second day of listening when she gave her description of Boldt Castle. Having just visited the island last fall, her details had me feeling like I was back there all over again--and wishing I was there again. She wrote so eloquently of the beautiful love story and really captured the sadness surrounding it. It made me believe her depictions of other places I have not visited were probably spot on.

I hope this isn't the last we hear from Casey in book form. Something tells me she has more content to pull off another captivating read.
