MAGA RISING dives into history as well. As a history buff, I appreciated the time he took to lay the groundwork and explain in detail how we got to this moment in time. The two big themes that keep emerging are "freedom of speech" and the "free exercise of religion." These are addressed philosophically and even theologically throughout the book. A great deal is covered in its chapters. Very well researched. Included in the accompanying PDF are dozens of links to articles and videos to document and provide a closer look at issues presented.
Trump’s Agenda 47 is laid out in detail as well. The author portrays Trump as the “Gray Champion” of this Fourth Turning, referencing the short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne and the book written by historians William Strauss and Neil Howe. I found this to be a very interesting and engaging aspect of the book.
In this highly polarized environment, getting to the bottom of the truth is really important. I have a lot of friends who are taking a second look at just about everything. This book did a good job at bringing clarity to me, and I am going to recommend it to my friends.
Regardless of what your political leanings are, I think you will find "MAGA RISING" to be an interesting and engaging listen.
