The book would’ve been better if the MC would have learned you figure after almost 10 years of someone telling you it’s important and overall growing up as a person your would listen to your teacher and not cause a death, and after said death you might change , but this guy nope I'm gonna fight my talent because its scary!

Overall OK, The MC super whiny.

It's great to see the past of Wes and understand a bit of what goes on under the hood. yes Tam his past was really SAD!

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this but it provided great insight and background into the one of the stories most mysterious and powerful characters other than Rezkin.

What a great story!! Wesson’s backstory is amazing, heart wrenching and loving. You won’t be disappointed!

I see a few negative comments, but based on those it seems like they've never read KDT and have gone at this as a standalone. their folly.

As usual Kel Kade brings an amazing story and Nick Podehl tells it well.

so this book is great but to some of the other reviews you have to read kings dark tidings first to have a feel for what is happening in this book I would recommend following the writers order of released books it is like another series I read called awaken online and flame by Travis Bagwell you have to read it all in order to see the flow of the characters!!
