A great series so far. I truly enjoyed Cornell’s Saxon Chronicles & Audible suggested these Books. I was pleasantly surprised. They’re every bit as exciting, engaging & entertaining. I’ll definitely continue the rest of the series.

I absolutely fell in love with this series, this box set is an amazing deal to get 3 books for the price of one credit! If your a fan of historical fiction then this is going to be the series for you. I love how historically accurate the series is. There is so much depth of characters as well, it’s hard to pick a favorite! I couldn’t stop listening from it being so action packed!

This series was a three book set for one credit. Well worth the price. The history is well researched and the storyline is well developed and has surprises. I highly doubt commend this to anyone interested in the period.

I read the series a few years ago and very much enjoyed listening to it this time, especially with Jackson’s narration. Character buildout is well done and it does draw you in and get you invested. I always like historical fictions that tie well to actual events and real people. Recommended.

Fantastic story, BUT in the middle of book 2 they just switched readers. It was jarring. Characters’ voices changed. I had a difficult time getting into it again. I had to relisten to chapters with the new narrator. Huge disappointment

Then…they switched back to the original guy two or three chapters later after I got used to the new guy.
