Gain a whole new perspective on Edgar Cayce's core principle that "mind is the builder" - and what it means for you. In this electrifying and practical book, acclaimed author Mitch Horowitz explores the inner meaning of Edgar Cayce's positive-mind principles and how to use them in your life. With brevity and precision, Mitch combines history and hands-on instruction to open a new window on power of thought, the ways that current science is validating metaphysics, and how to use Cayce's mind philosophy to improve and expand your life.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, because Mitch Horowitz is always interesting. If you want an intelligent overview of New Thought and related ideas he's your guy. I'm often in the mood to hear broad discussion of such ideas without diving into any particular work. What other book might you compare Mind as Builder to and why?
Probably one of the author's other works, One Simple Idea. What about Mitch Horowitz’s performance did you like?
He's a good narrator and you know he's genuinely interested in the material you're hearing.Any additional comments?
Judging by the title, I thought the book would be about "The positive mind metaphysics of Edgar Cayce". But all we actually hear from Cayce is his "mind as builder" line. Horowitz uses Cayce to start and end the book, but most of the book is an historical overview of positive thinking ideas. So he explores ideas similar to Cayce's "mind as builder", and examines the historical context in which Cayce was working. Which is fine, I found it all very interesting. I just thought there would be more material from Cayce himself.Interesting, but only tangentially about Cayce

I too had heard much of this through his lectures, but enjoyed hearing it with the bits of stories and background on Cayce. I appreciate that it was a free listen with audible!
