It was good,but could have been better. I had a hard time with the narration. Misread words really bother me.A corpse and a copse are not the same thing. I think a different narrator would have made it better.The sample story was good aside from narration. I was given this book free for an honest review.

The story was pretty creepy, but the narration didn't really fit with the vibes of it. A man checks into a rundown motel after splitting up with his wife. Instead of a decent night's sleep, he encounters a pair of creepy, black-eyed kids tapping on his door. The imagery was creepy and scary and the ending of the story was perfect horror.

This is the second book I have listened to with this narrator and it will be my last. Her performance and voice just irritate me. Also, over half of this "book" is a prologue and a couple of chapters from another book (which is not mentioned in the description)! The book is labeled as a novella, but is only a short story. Glad I didn't spend any money on this one.

This book is amazing from beginning to end, definitely has that horror feeling and definitely gives you that not of scary feeling. Two kids haunting an old man. Overall excellent book to listen to.
