I read the book when it 1st came out. Love the storyline, especially since guest appearances from The Biancas..and Brody.

So far, I am loving this series. I was super excited to start Henry’s story, especially the fact that he is a single dad. I don’t know why, but I absolutely love this trope.

This second chance romance is about Henry and his childhood love Jade. They say if you love something let it go… But in this case she didn’t come back. They both had to work on things and grow up and try to figure out who they were without each other.

I absolutely devoured this book and loved the real questions and concerns Henry had as a single dad, as well as Jade’s concerns as stepping in as a possible stepmother. I loved the dynamic and how so many people in real life have to deal with these kind of situations. It was very relatable. And the slow burn…🥵🥵🥵.

Can’t wait to read the next in the series!

Mr. Broody was so sweet, emotional, and overall just a perfect story for Henry, Jade, and Bodhi! I loved the flashback moments, but they were definitely heartbreaking at times. There’s just so much love between these two, even when they weren’t together - I thought my heart would explode for them! And the chapters from Bodhi’s POV were so perfect! Low key loved how he is so observant and intuitive, and how he decided to meddle a little bit. Every single character that’s a part of their family played a perfect role and you can’t help but love how supportive everyone is. I will 100% be re-reading and cannot wait to listen to the audio for this one as well!

This audiobook is duet narration with a full cast and is simply amazing! JF Harding and Brooke Bloomingdale were perfect for Henry & Jade and I couldn’t stop listening!! Would definitely recommend this audiobook to anyone who might be looking to read this book!

Wow!! I laughed, cried and am so invested in this series and Bodie has me around his little finger! Meghan knocks it out of park again! Can’t wait for book 3!!!!

Chapter 14 had some skips so there were pieces of the chapter that I wound up not hearing—even after closing the app and restarting the story.

Love the book! Love Piper Rayne! Chapter 14 has gaps in the dialogue. That’s the only reason I gave the performance 4 stars vs. 5

I loved the book, but Kiley was in another book and her narrator this time was grating. Also too close to Victoria. I am a fan of multiple narrators, but the cast needed to relate to other books.

Where do I even begin. This book was incredible. From the relationships to the banter this book had it all for me.

This story is about growing up and falling in love, going their separate ways and then fate bringing them back together. Not only do we get to watch them falling in love all over again but also we get to see Jade falling in love with Bodhi and stepping into what it means to be a mother to him.

The pull that Henry & Jade have to each other is so strong. I loved that we got flashbacks to when they were little and how they felt and interacted back then. The reasoning behind why they went their separate ways got me; the fact that Henry loved her so much to do what he did *swoon*

This book was such a wholesome and delightful read. It Made me tear up, laugh and giggle. There wasn't a single dull moment, the pacing was perfect, with short, engaging chapters that kept the story moving without any unnecessary stretches.

I loved that we got a few chapters from Bodhi's POV I feel like it really added to the book and the story. Bodhi truly stole the show for me. All he wanted was for his Daddy to be happy and a mom for him. His innocence and determination of playing matchmaker was so adorable, his little schemes had me laughing and when he brought others into his schemes made it even better. It's rare to see a child character written with so much authenticity.

"“She’s my daddy’s,” Bodhi says in a tone I’ve heard him use at playtime when someone tries to take the toy he’s playing with."

If you are someone who loves a hockey romance, second chance, single dad, found family, and an adorable kiddo you DEFINITELY need to read or listen to this book!

I did also listen to the audiobook that includes a full cast narration and wow it was so good and brought so much to the book!
