The dialog is fast, funny and very entertaining. The layers that are the foundations for these complex characters are gradually exposed.
Sparks fly as their physical chemistry explodes into passion.
The story actually begins with Jude's Law which precedes this one. Dangers lurks in the background adding tension and suspense to the evolving romance.
A well plotted story that is enhanced by a talented narrator.
I recommend you listen to this title!

Love this story! I read the book years ago. Enjoyed listening now just as much.

I have enjoyed books by Lori Foster but struggled to finish this audiobook. Murphy sounded like a needy whipped man & Ashley sounded vapid, weak & phony, not at all how the author intended. Not worth the time it wasted. Frankly the narrator ruined this book for me.

What I didn’t like:
1.Why would you antagonize someone suspected of murder.
2.Of course she’s a virgin at 27.
3. How hard is it to just tell the fucking truth.
4. Her spine straightened (she’s lucky she’s alive) I’m so tired of her acting like she has her shit together and she’s so whiny. Poor me!!!!
